Adventurous Lacrosse Wisconsin Engagement Session

When Taylor and Drew reached out to me to be their wedding photographer and that they wanted to have their engagement session in Lacrosse – I was SO stoked!!

However, I have to admit, I didn’t think Lacrosse had any spectacular views or beautiful spots for an engagement session – BUT HOLY COWWW, I WAS PROVED WRONG!!!!

Taylor and Drew lived in the same town their entire life. They attended high school together. But little did they know… they would be planning their wedding so many years later….

They thought of each other as just friends, and they were always dating someone else. They really didn’t think they’d end up together…⁣

Taylor attended college at UW-LaCrosse and Drew went to Western Tech College in LaCrosse. But still, they remained just friends! Eventually, Taylor moved to Marshfield, WI and that’s when these two became better friends, and then…. more than friends… 😉

These two started dating long distance, even though they lived in the same town their entire life!! They finally decided to give it a shot!

BUT AS IT TURNS OUT…. Drew had ALWAYS had his eye on Taylor!!! *cue the romantic movie music* ⁣

Taylor mentioned that “It didn’t take long to figure out we were meant to be together. We talked about getting married and I actually helped pick out the ring. But the engagement was still a surprise on a weekend trip to Chicago this past December. He proposed to me at night on a balcony overlooking downtown Chicago! Now we are planning our wedding and we’ll be husband and wife on May 29th, 2021!” ⁣

IS IT JUST ME OR DOES TAYLOR AND DREW’S STORY SOUND LIKE A HALLMARK MOVIE IN ITSELF?

Taylor and Drew are an extremely laid-back and casual couple! They love outdoor activities like hiking, boating, snowmobiling, fishing, skiing – basically anything you could ever think of! They’re also OBSESSED with their two fur babies – Brewer and Finn!

These two also told be that they were going to be super awkward for their photos, and that they had no idea what to do. It was even Taylor’s FIRST time having her photos professionally taken!

AND CAN I JUST SAY…. THESE TWO KILLED IT?!?!

I don’t know about you, but I think love is such a beautiful, magical thing! And these two are DEFINITELY soulmates and MEANT to be together!
